Board Meeting Minutes from Feb 10, 2004
In attendance
- Steve Moller, Cary Ecker, Brad Scheevel, Brian Stern, Gerald Townsan, Sally Townsan, Robbi Medak, Robert Roush, Betty Roush, Sam Grant, Alan Sorenson, Diane Mass, Jon Mass, Hugh Brody, Howard Mathisen
South park area
- Several attendees voiced opposition to anything affecting greenbelt adjacent to the homes.
- Robert proposed work party to clean park area up.
- Park vandalism has gone down due to more police support and clearing out brush.
- Cary talked to Snohomish County parks head -- they are not interested at all in the property.
- Several attendees expresssed desire to clean up and re-gravel park trails. Currently they are muddy and contain garbage.
- Robert expressed concern about cleanup in area (seeing downed logs, should have been chipped).
Waterfall
- Several attendees wondered why the waterfall is continually maintained when it's so expensive and frequently not working.
- Association has spent $15-20k on waterfall maintenance in past 3 years.
- Will give waterfall another chance with professional maintenance (Glenbrook Services). Waterfall has not been maintained professionally in years.
Speeding
- Several attendees noted that speeding continues to be a problem, mostly on East side of Totem Falls Elementary and on Puget Park Drive.
- Discussed using a radar trailer on East side of school for information purposes.
- Members encouraged to call police about weekend "dragstrip" activities on Puget Park Drive. If problem continues, may complain to county and inquire about speed bumps.
Other
- Tree from greenbelt has fallen on one homeowner's fence. Cary will call landscaper and have tree removed.
- Date of community garage sale briefly discussed. Gold Creek 2's will likely be on May 15-16 and we may want ours held on sale weekend.
