Board Meeting Minutes from January 11, 2005

In Attendance

• Homeowners: Derek Brown, Bob Roush, Phil Bullard, Shari Clark (bookkeeper), Howard Mathisen, Steve Moller, Martin Medak
• Other: Rick Bond (landscaper)

Other

• The 2004 financial statements were briefly reviewed
• A homeowner suggested having an annual event, a work party, perhaps with a putluck or BBQ. Homeowner will look into organizing this.
• Tiger installed above-ground lighting around the waterfall.
• A car hit and damaged a tree in the south median. Will look into replacing this and see if insurance covers it.
• Brian discussed future of web site. Will be moving to new web host provider that offers what we need to add a bulletin board. Also want one that offers web email at the-falls.org domain. Yahoo seems to provide this at about $20/mo.
• Thomas creek has moved towards some homes and has caused some flooding in yards. Working with Snohomish County Department of Fish and Wildlife and our landscaper to control the problem.
• Cary received information from Snohomish County Public Works with regard to installing speed bumps to control speeding on Cascade Dr. The program has some minimum requirements (600 vehicles per day, 85th percentile speed is over 35% over speed limit, etc) that we do not meet, so this is not an option.
