County Public Works to Work on Our Streets

You might have noticed white markings on the streets in The Falls. According to the county Public Works, Road Maintenance department, the markings are where its crews will be sealing cracks on our streets. In the next few weeks, Public Works crews will be grinding the asphalt around the cracks in preparation for filling them with an asphalt sealer material. This procedure is used to prevent water from penetrating the asphalt eventually creating chuckholes in our streets.

County Parks Department to Begin Construction on Willis Tucker Park

The Snohomish County Parks Department has announced that construction will begin on the new Willis Tucker Park, adjacent to The Falls, in August of this year. It currently has put the project out to bid.
