Park / TrailSeveral association members who live along the trail and the park area or the south portion of the trail expressed their concerns about a board plan to dispose of the south park area during the February board meeting. The homeowners emphasized that they felt any other use than as a park or trail for this Association property would reduce their property values and their quality of life in The Falls. Board members indicated that they were just beginning to research the idea of disposal. The members pointed out the damage done by this winter’s ice storm. The board will be concentrating on cleaning up downed trees and limbs. Also, there was discussion of the condition of the trail. The board will be looking into adding gravel to the trail. Finally, there was some discussion about concerns that the play equipment in the playground area was increasing the Association’s insurance costs. Several members suggested removing the play equipment if that would lower costs to the Association. Also, they were not sure that the play equipment received much use. Web SiteAssociation Secretary Brian Stern has been adding features to the association website. It now has the Association Articles, By-laws, CC&R's, budgets for 2002, 2003 and 2004, and past newsletters for 2003. Brian is always looking for ideas to improve the web site. If you have any suggestions or questions contact Brian Stern at snohomishfalls@hotmail.com.
